After Mercadona we drove to Malaga proper and parked in a car park not far from the main city beach. The walk to the beach was a relaxing one through the Botanical Gardens of the Paseo del Parque.
There were hundreds of exotic plants but the one that caught Hamida's attention the most were the banana trees, probably because of the nice memories they bring back - Bangladesh and Banana Island of Luxor, Egypt.
After Yousuf and Zainab had their lunch we continued to the Playa La Malagueta...
