Laguna Fuente de Piedra to Solynieve in the Sierra Nevada took longer than expected. But winding up the mountains in the last hour from Granada to Solynieve was as stunning as imagined.
We reached Solynieve just after sunset but it took a while finding the offices of our apartment agency. Poor directions. Solynieve is a commercial resort but I was still disgusted that they charged us an extra €10 for checking-in after 8pm.
Our apartment building was higher up the resort. Finding it was not an issue but finding the flat itself was an unwanted adventure...
