One of the first buildings to be constructed at the complex is this mosque, in the traditional rectangular style of a courtyard leading to a multi-pillared hall.
The second picture is to show that I was there too and I'm not just the voice behind the pictures! The prominent arched gate behind me was part of the House of Ya'far, one of the pricipal viziers I think...
