We left the visitor centre and went for a walk 2 and quarter km walk to a bird watching hide. It was the most beautiful of country walks.
We first followed a narrow straight path with lush vegetation on either side that at several points were riddled with ants, of which Yousuf was weary but Zainab daring. Then we strolled along a wider path with the lake to our left and the pictured green and yellow fields to our right.
It was beautifully peaceful and serene. Not just for the senses but more so for the soul. We need to go on more such country walks InshaAllah...
