Crossed back to the south side of the city via a bland modern bridge upstream from the Guadalquivir and walked along the banks. Nice walk except for some unsightly graffiti. This was an issue in other parts of Andalucia too, as pointed out by Hamida.
This little sandy beach is near the Puente Romano. Our resident zoologist was excited again, as was I seeing the river race past us. Brought back memories of such rivers from Bangladesh...
